Pentax announced the new Optio RS1000 customizable digital camera, that has a removable faceplate that holds interchangeable skins to match the personality and style of its owner.
The Optio RS1000 comes with 11 standard skins, a SKINIT gift card to design and order a free, pre-cut, 3M vinyl skin from www.skinit.com, a stencil to make skins out of printed photos, wrapping papers, or drawings, and the Pentax Personal Skin Designer Adobe Air-based software.
The Optio RS1000 also features 14-megapixels, a 3-inch LCD, a 4X optical zoom lens covering 27.5mm wide angle, Auto Picture mode, Automatic Face Detection, HD 720p movie recording, Movie Shake Reduction mode, 9 digital filters including Toy Camera, Retro and Sepia, Digital Shake Reduction, Auto-tracking AF, Digital Panorama, Green mode, Frame Composite function with 20 frames stored in the camera, and Burst Shooting at a speed of 16 images in two seconds.
The Pentax Optio RS1000 will be available October 2010 for $149.95.
