from used Summary: Hands down the best 4x5 enlarger I've ever used. I've worked as a professional custom printer for many years and I wouldn't want anything else. The build quality is outstanding. Incredibly precise and smooth, full 4x5 coverage with no illumination fall-off. Chassis is incredibly stable and once aligned, always aligned. I have the autofocus, autosizing Optocom version with the three lens turret, but the manual version has the same virtues. I've been using this enlarger every day for over five years with no problems. Keep in mind, this is a professional enlarger. It's meant to be used on a day-to-day basis. The cost might be prohibitive for the hobbyist, but it's worth it for the everyday worker. Craftsmanship from the same people who build Ferrari's. Strengths: Build quality. Precision. Never needs alignment once it's set up. Weaknesses: Manual version doesn't have a three lens turret. Nothing besides that. Similar Products Used: Omega D5, Beseler 45MX, Durst AC901 Customer Service: None required.
