This camera is an awesome tool if you will take advantage of it's key features, those being the fixed mirror for real-time viewing, fast motor drive, 6ms lag time. For photojournalism and sports, this camera is extremely useful. If you do other types of photography, or not a professional, the high price and specific performance of this model may be hard to justify. Go with a 1n if you don't need the real-time capability of this model. The AF of this camera is pretty good, but the Nikon system seems to be a bit more accurate. Still, the combination of features this camera offers, including the CF functions and independent AF/release functions of the camera makes it a great photographic tool. if you have to have the ultimate tool for photographing sports, or do a lot of journalistic photgraphy (and get paid to do so), this camera is just about ideal.
