EOS A2E/EOS 5
Strength:
I actually use a EOS5 and not a A2E. It is a very good camera, extremely good for money-value. It has all the feature you need without having to purchase any assories.
Weakness:
NOt at the moment, but I feel that the build of the camera can be tougher. The ususal complain of the main dial I have not encounter yet, but it does feel flimsy. I think the metering both flash and incident is not as good as Nikon. A very good camera for beginner who is thinking of upgrading your skill, and low buget expert. EOS A2E/EOS 5
Strength:
It's small, lightweight, very quiet, fairly reliable, and has all the necessary controls on the vertical grip.
Weakness:
The built-in flash doesn't pop up anymore. It also doesn't like being in the rain at all. Other problem I've heard of, but haven't had with mine, are the lens-release buttong popping off, and the "clicky thing" in the mode selector breaking so the dial spins freely. While I've had a few problems with my A2E, it's a lot more durable than I expected. The eye controlled focus is too slow to be very useful, and the fact that it won't take AAs is somewhat annoying. But when I don't need a fast motordrive for sports, I prefer this camera over the Eos-1 because is much lighter and quieter. Customer Service great Similar Products Used: none |
