Strength:

Small, easy to use and understand.

Weakness:

No

Great camera for a backup. I used it for a few years as a backup for my N90s. (The N90s has now become a backup for an F5.) I have just passed it on to the kids. I have never had a problem with this camera. There are a few items I wish it had; however, when comparing camera features versus prices, this camera does a fantastic job. Its metering system is really good, no comparison to the F5, but close to a N90s.
It autofocuses at a good speed. The top mount LCD panel and controls are easy to use once you read the book and totally understand what the feature are and how to change them.
I would recommend this camera to anyone starting out (with or without the date back). It makes a great backup camera with not much added weight to the camara bag.
I give it a four star rating only because it doesn't offer all the features an expert of pro would need. However, for a beginner, it could rate as five stars. (Hope that made sense.)
