Strength:

I think its great for first-time SLR buyers (like me).

IT's easy to use in full auto mode, but also allows you to be creative when you become more comfortable with it.

Weakness:

Autofocus is a little sketchy sometimes, and I don't trust my eyes to manually focus very much. (More of a problem with me than with the camera).

Good camera for what I use it for (Travel, shots of the family, etc....)

Customer Service

no need. no real problems.

My first SLR camera.

I had a point-and-shoot that had a nasty habit of rewinding rolls of film about 3 shots into

Strength:

It is very easy to use, nice layout of the features, great entry level camera. Acurate autofocus, good overall metering. I also bought other lenses to go with it (80-200 and 28-80mm), very happy with most of my shots wether it is scenery or glarmour shots

Weakness:

Autofocus is not fast enough. Center weighted metering causes problems in tricky lighting

Good overall entry level camera. Can go along for a long time when you progress with your skill and never really falls short. After you learn the behavior under triky lighting conditions, you can conpensate yourself with the manual features.

Strength:

CHEAP !!! But can still work with A or M Pentax lens, very economic choice for beginner.

Weakness:

Since it is a lower end model, it doesn't provide central/spot metering.
Less solid body and plastic lens mount.

Cheap, easy to use, compact and light size. Can compatible with all Pentax old lens except screw mount.

Customer Service

Poor customer-oriented attitude in HK.

Simple, compact size and wieght is tops. Takes great pictures.

Weakness:

Difficult to auto focus in very low light.

Great camera for a beginner. The first few rols of film had some mistakes, but since then I have had nothing but great pictures. The panoramic and date functions are handy to have.

Strength:

I love the autofocus feature, and the way that it automatically switches modes. It's perfect for photographing children, because you have to be quick! I am able to get very close up shots with ease. I had previously purchased different lenses to go with my manual 35MM Pentax (which I loved at the time), and these lenses are compatable with the ZX10. I haven't honestly used them with it yet, but it's nice to know that when I have the time I can "play" with this camera!

Weakness:

It uses a lot of batteries, which are expensive to replace. There is an attachement that you can purchase though that uses AA batteries. It makes it a little bulkier, but I think it will be worth it!

I love this camera! It's easy to use, and makes your photos look more professional. I get a lot of compliments on my photography, but I know it's really just the camera! :)

Customer Service

I've not had a need for customer service yet.
