Casual

Strength:

- Mirror lockup when timer released
- Yashica/Contax lensmount
- Priced extremely cheap used

Weakness:

- Mirror bounce is rather shocking!

The camera is so simple that I can find no significant technical strengths or weaknesses worth noting except the mirror slap. Apart from tripod/mirror lockup use, I wouldn't prefer to use it handheld.

The 3 star rating I give is based on comparison with other cameras I have used personally and those listed for review in PhotographyReview.com website. Which is only fair considering how technically advanced other cameras are.

Then again, at that beginning, I hadn't the money to go Contax. The Yashica's were the only way to go in order to use Carl Zeiss T* lenses. I believe this situation is most common with Yashica users. And that, to me, this is FX3's strongest point.
