Strength:

Form factor and design.

Weakness:

Very poor quality photos when the zoom function was used. Inconsistent performance, some photos poorly exposed, others out of focus. The I also bought it BEFORE its price was reduced so drastically so I paid twice the current price for it.

While I was initially attracted to the design and small size as a camera to take everywhere, I have given this away because I could not stand to be disappointed again with pictures I had taken.

Strength:

This is the only APS camera that I have checked out in the $120 range that comes with remote, 7 exposure modes with two bulb settings and with a zoom

Weakness:

Looks like this is a close-out model -- hard to hunt down for availability.

Best value on the market....try finding another $120 APS camera that comes with a remote, with 7 different exposure modes that include 2 long exposures or "B" settings? And with a small zoom to boot? The other reviewers had experienced grainy photos, if it is not due to poor processing by the photo developer, then it must be due to improper exposure (too dark), it is not the camera's fault - all due to human error and misuse of the camera. I had no problems whatsoever with photos coming in as "too grainy", by using the 200 and 400 type films. This model is almost three years old....probably will be phased out by Pentax soon - buy it while you can still find it !!!

Strength:

Small, cheap, versatile. Buttons are easy to use for such a small camera. It came with a case, a strap, battery, film, and a remote control all for $90.00, on sale. Flash charges and recharges quickly. Pictures were very good.

Weakness:

No problems so far.

I would highly recommend it as a great second camera.

Customer Service

Salesperson was very helpful.

Strength:

Small, compact, great ergonomics. Cover closes over lense. 3 print sizes.

Weakness:

Takes very poor pictures. Very, very grainy. Very bad red eye. Focuses poorly.

Has the great advantages of APS. However takes very bad pictures. Pictures are very grainy, poor resolution, not sharp, and have bad red eye. Very bad inside, might have an underpowered flash. Had a Canon Elph and that was much better. Would not recommend this camera. I returned it.

Customer Service

Rep recognized quickly first camera was defective. However was unfamiliar on how to set camera for imprinting functions. Service was dealer, Wolf Camera, was practically non-existant, with no feedback on results of pictures.

Strength:

Compact, features, love the way the flash pops out

Weakness:

Takes sucky pictures, have to strain to see mode in LCD screen

Not worth the money especially because the pictures have no sharpness (especially in panoramic), bad contrast.

Strength:

Small enough to fit in pocket. Easy to use if you don't mess with changing the different options around and just set the camera up once and use it that way.

Weakness:

Every option is a picture so you have to memorize a bunch of symbols to use the correct setting.

A good camera that takes good pictures. There are many flash options to choose from when using the camera so you have to choose the right one.

Customer Service

Terrible. I had a problem with the flash, and had to fight with Pentax to get them to honor my warranty.

Strength:

Compact, good ergonomics, easy to use

Weakness:

Mode dial can be changed accidentally, control buttons on back very small

I bought this wonderful camera over the internet from Brandsmall.com for $119. This included a kit with leather case, remote control, and a roll of film. The camera is tiny, but has a good grip and is very easy to use. It takes wonderful photos, with edge-to-edge sharpness and no distortion even with panoramic prints. The date and title imprinting feature is another extra. I have many cameras including Olympus, Minolta, Pentax and Vivitar. This is my first APS camera and I am thrilled with the versatility, ease of use and performance. Get one while they are still available.

photo qaulity - although that could be the developer too.

I love the size and weight of this camera. You can keep it in a pocket and have it with you at all times. I would love to try Canons comparable model to see a differnce. This was my first APS camera.
