Strength:
Incredibly sharp lens.
Weakness:
Auto focus seemed to take too long, causing me to often miss "the decisive moment" shots. The prints from this camera were better than those from my Nikon 8008s with zoom lens. The Zeiss optics are spectacular! But I've had trouble with it taking too long to focus and not finding the object to focus on. I would call this shutter lag, but I think it's really focus lag. I know the new Contax T3 is supposed to have updated focusing, so I hope this problem is fixed. I also had trouble getting it to lock focus so I could reframe the shot, but that could have been operator error. Strength:
SIZE, USABILITY, BUILD QUALITY, LENS, EASE OF USE, THOSE LOVELY PICTURES.
Weakness:
NOT AS USER-OVER-RIDEABLE AS IT COULD BE, DUE TO THE WAY OPTIONS ARE SELECTED. LENS COVER JAMMED AT ONE STAGE. HAVING ONLY TRIED "SNAPS" I WANTED TO TAKE GOOD PICTURES IN A SOCIAL CONTEXT, OF THE COMMUNITY I WAS WORKING IN. THE CAMERA NEEDED TO BE POCKETABLE AND EASY TO USE BUT ALSO HELP ME DEVELOP KNOWLEDGE OF PHOTOGRAPHY. FOR ME THIS WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE PURCHASE, ESPECIALLY FOR A USED PRODUCT. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE T2, EVEN THOUGH MY INITIAL THOUGHTS WERE THAT I'D BEEN RIPPED OFF. Customer Service DIDN'T TRY Similar Products Used: MINOLTA AFE. |

Strength:
Compact. Well constructed. My friends has a Leica Minilux. While the Cotax T2 lens is very good, it isn't up to the quality of his Minilux.
Weakness:
None Very good camera. Leica Minilux's lens is superior. Similar Products Used: None |

Best lense for a compact camera, the colours are so vibrant it can rival some SLR lenses. The camera body can really take a beating. The ability to manually adjust settings.
Weakness:
a bit heavy, weak flash, wish the lense is interchangable, like its big brother. the best camera to take with you everywhere. it's the best sidekick to your regular camera set. worth every penny. Customer Service no need Similar Products Used: Nikon F4, 801, 601, Canon EOS-1 |

Great camera, wonderful sharp lens, a joy to use, lots of little features that make you glad you have one.
Weakness:
Setting on f2.8 activates program mode, so you can't really specify f2.8. Lens is single focal length and non-interchangeable.Not enough shutter speeds in the viewfinder. It's a wonderful camera with a fast, sharp lens, but I would like to have a range of focal lengths Customer Service None needed Similar Products Used: Minox 35GT, Minolta |

1. Beautiful images
Weakness:
1. Weak flash, mostly useful for fill-flash This is a truly great compact camera. I have gotten some of my finest photos with it, and the image quality certainly rivals my Nikon. Customer Service None needed Similar Products Used: Pentax 928 |

Small size, ruggedness of body. Tank like! Zeiss lens, of course!
Weakness:
Nope! Camera is a joy to hold and use. Fits easily in my briefcase, unlike my G2 which barely fits into its own camera case...another story! Solidly built, Zeiss lens. Extremely sharp pictures and clarity. Blows away the Nikon 35/28ti or Leica Minilux, I feel. Can get this on the net now for around $600! Customer Service No need!
