Strength:

Great overall film if used properly.

Weakness:

None

An outstanding film. My wife uses Fuji Velvia for nature and landscape photography. I needed a good print film to duplicate photography with her and have tested many different print films. Since, I use Fuji NPC 160 and NPZ 800 along with my Canon D60 Digital work, I found shooting the Reala at ISO 64 for nature and landscape to be totally awesome and people at ISO 80 to be equally awesome. I have a good lab working with me and they have given me the desired results. My photos don''t take a back seat to anyone. I highly recommend the Reala 100, but shoot it 64 - 80 for the best results.

Strength:

strong colors-good for dull days fine grain and sharp 24 and 36 exp. available

Weakness:

if you don''t mail order, you will get ripped off at local shops-they want too much for it only available in one speed-no 200 or 50(why doesn''t anyone make a color neg. film slower than 100?)

An excellent choice color negative film. It''s very sharp with fine grain. It gives strong, but accurate colors. Greens-grass,leaves,plants-are awesome! I like slide films, but cannot find a lab that has a machine that gives a good print from the slide-Reala to the rescue here. One thing about this film: it requires a top quality lab to get the most out of the prints. The first 2 rolls were taken to Wolf camera with no difference from average Fuji films. They said they got a new machine, so maybe I''ll try Reala there one more time.

Strength:

Good color saturation--but most film will produce this if you run it through a camera with a good lens.

Weakness:

Nothing in particular--it is slow but is ISO 100.

It is not THAT great. Even Agfa HDC 200 renders photo of comparable quality and grain. I''ve used them side by side.

Strength:

Best color on the market, skin tones are cream’de cream. The best in the business. Colors are 3-D, I love photographing colorfully dressed people with this film, and colors are very vivid and very true. Reala is a breakthrough film with it’s forth color layer. What will Fuji do next, a fifth color level? I’m surprise Kodak is still in business; Fuji films IMO are far superior then Kodak. Kodak’s all down hill momentum started when they got rid of Royal 25. Fuji then picked up the “quality” market and started were Kodak left off. The only 100 speed print film I use.

Weakness:

NONE. Wish they had a 400 speed with the same res. and color.

This is simply the best 100 speed print film money can buy. Trust me, I have people commenting about how wonderful the colors/sharpness is in the pictures, and Reala is my secret. I found rating it at ISO 100 gives great results; rate it lower for better colors. You cannot go wrong with ISO 64-100, the lower you go, you might knock out some shadows, but get better colors, for portraits a lower 64-80 or +1/3, +1/2 stop is better. You cannot go wrong at 100 either. I use a Maxxum 7 with Minolta 28-70/2.8G lens, and a 5400xi flash.

Strength:

Very sharp and a great all around film. A must have in your bag. Once you try it, you''ll never stop using it.

Weakness:

wish Fuji made it in a 24 exp. Only 12 and 36 exp. now.

I simply love this film. Of all the print films I have tried, this one is the best in color, contrast and sharpness. Although I think I found Kodak Supra 100 to be a tad sharper, it sadly lacks in color. Reala wins over-all trophy! Funny thing, I sell it in my store and I have so many customers hooked on it that they will heard into the store every week when we get our weekly shipments and horde every box of Reala we get in and the slow ones have to be quicker...... LOL

I was stuck on Kodak for so long, I didn''t realize this film was so good. Good for people pics as well as scenics and flash. The butter dish in my fridge is all green now, no more "great yellow father".

This film blows me away. I just spent 5 months backpacking around Europe, and needed a film that can handle anything. Reala 100 excelled at portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, sunsets, waterways, high light, low light - you name it. If you want a film that will consistantly give you great results in many different situations, then give this one a shot. It has blown away every other colour print film I''ve used.

Strength:

Color reproduction is perfect. Grain on 8X12 enlargements is not visible.

Weakness:

ASA 100

Shot a roll on a sunny day in my garden, mixed full sun and shadows. After processing in a decent lab, I held the prints up to the flowers and foliage the next day under the same conditions. The colors were ABSOLUTELY PRECISE on green, blue, red, yellow, orange, you name it. Sun or shade, they were all perfect.

Strength:

Extreame fine grain, so see how fine the grain is, put it under a film scanner, more examplary than a 8x10 print. high exposure tolerance color rendition is not too satuated, not too flat, so it is best all around not expensive react to flash well (to compensate its low ISO)

Weakness:

Err, not available in most store, but is it called weakness?

Best all-around film
