Strength:

- Low grain
- Can be kept at room tempreture
- Inexpensive
- Available in 24 & 36 exposures
- Good color balance for outdoor photography

Weakness:

None discovered yet

I have taken lots of bird shots with this slide film, and the color balance is much better than the EliteChrome 100 Extra. Recently bought an Acer 2720s slide scanner (another great value for the money), scanned a few pictures at 2700dpi and printed the 50MB .tiff files on my HP printer at 8x10. I can see the ink droplets, but there are no signs of the grain. Prints are very sharp. Also, love the fact that I don't have to carry a cooler with me on the long hikes in order to keep the film cool. This is my slide film of choice, only second to the more expensive Velvia.

Strength:

Excellent color, fine grain, doesn't need refigeration and is easily available.

Weakness:

none!

I am not a professional but I can't see any reason to use pro film like Velvia, Provia, etc. when Sensia is nearly comparable and can stay in your camera for a couple of weeks if you don't use it up without any problems.

Strength:

great colors, saturation and value, the best choice for landscape, small grain

Weakness:

caucasian skin color are little pinkish (redish).

It will be perfect my film if could do better skin tones for white people, where in my opinion Kodak films are superior.

Landscape slide film of my choice. Not as archival as Ektachromes.

Great value.

Very afordable. Great grain and color.

Weakness:

One of my favorite slide films. Enlargements at 8x10 don't show any grain. I used this film on with a 210mm lens with a 2x extender to shoot some wild Canadian geese in my neighbors ponds and in flight. Those images are some of my fovorites right now. I managed to get ten geese in flight over head and I can see the white patch of feathers on each of their heads.

I would recommend this film to most every one.

Strength:

Pleasing color, pretty accurate skin tones, good value, fine grain, low cost!

Weakness:

none found

I've seen high quality pictures of people, landscapes, architecture from this film. All around seems to be one of the most versatile slide films on the market. If you've never shot slides, this is an excellent film to start on because it has pretty accurate, although warm, tones. I'd recommend this for all types of photography, but for landscapes would advise using a polarizer for a added saturation

Strength:

Good Pleasing color, pleasing skin tones, nice color saturation with polarizer. Cheaper than professional films. Excellent detail and resolution. Adequate exposure range for excellent landscapes in good light. Good color balance.

Weakness:

Do not attempt in low light situation, underexposure results in serious loss of detail. Exposure latitude is OK though.

By buying mailers and slide film at one time - you can average the cost including postage to $8.00 per 36 exposure roll - this is cost effective if you are shooting a number of rolls.
Provia 100F would be my choice if I had more money to burn. I rate this film about at 4.5, since the average is less than this I will rate it at 5 to bring the average up.

Strength:

Really good film. This is the first time I've shot slide-film now that I'm in a photography school. My instructor recommended this as oppossed to the professional film. My shots came out terrific. The only thing I would do differently is bracket more. Most of my shots would have looked much better a half stop under.

Weakness:

Haven't noticed any.

This really changed my view of fuji. When processing print film I leaned heavily towards Kodak but after shooting some professional Kodak I'm not so sure that it is any better. I am shooting the 400 Sensia soon and am very optimistic.

Strength:

availability, price, "speed"

Weakness:

not for the price

you cant find velveeta or provia in the corner store when you need a good film! this film replaced fujichrome 100 and is sharper, also has much finer grain...and as has been said here, it is capable of "pro" results...whatever, i like the results. it still has the same "palette" as fujichrome 100 w/ the sharpness and grain of fuji 50 (my personal fav, sadly discontinued)

for 100 speed slide films, this is my first choice!

This was my first slide film and loved it.I dont like tripods so i dont use Velvia.I shot mostly hand held so this film is great.Wth the use of polorizer results are outstanding. Now they replaced sensia II with sensia and i havent seen any difference yet.
This is a pro film for amateur likes.

Weakness:

None, if you know how to use it

I shoot a lot of scenic and travel photography and this is my film of choice. I could spend more but I've always been satisfied with Sensia. The blues and greens are terrific for outdoor shooting. Underexpose it by 1/3 stop for saturated colors. Nice sharpness even for enlargements.
