AF24mm f/2.8D Nikkor

Simply put, this lens takes beautiful pictures. I was amazed when I saw what I could do with this lens. The 24mm focal length is practical enough that I use this lens 75% of the time even though I have two zooms. Very sharp and contrasty, good close-focus distance.
Weakness:
None If you own a Nikon, buy this lens. It will reward you with roll after roll of incredible images. This lens has made me fall in love with wide-angle photography. Customer Service Haven't tried Similar Products Used: None |

AF24mm f/2.8D Nikkor
Strength:
I have shot with some very expensive glass over the years and this and my old 55mm 1:2.8 micro Nikkor are the sharpest lenses I have seen.
Weakness:
The only potential problem I can forsee with this lens is that the front element is somewhat in harms way due to it not being recessed inside of the lens body. The available lens hood provides more than an adequete remedy to this problem however. A very excellent lens. The 24mm is very fun for close (relatively speaking) high speed sports action. This lightweight autofocuses very quickly. Customer Service None required to date. I have had the lens for approximately 6 years. Similar Products Used: Canon 20mm 2.8 |
