EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6III
Strength:
a decent lens for the money.
Weakness:
slow focusing and a bit noisy for wildlife work. This is the first lens I purchase for wildlife. Being a college student I had no money. It is ok for the price but I am now ready to purchase a quality fixed lens. Customer Service none attempted Similar Products Used: none yet |

EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6III USM
Strength:
Very powerful. Large focal range.
Weakness:
Not happ with the lens' sharpness. Too slow to be useful for sports (one of the reasons I got it). Micro USM (vs. better ring USM). Front element rotates. I never really liked this lens. Not impressed with the sharpness or contrast. The lens is very slow and is next to useless for sports. Also, impossible to get a shallow DOF for single subjects or portraits. It is powerful though, and is sometimes fun to just look through... Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: Canon 80-200, Canon 28-105, others |
