i did order 2 Photo Mugs as Christmas gift for my kid
was waiting till Dec 24, when i contacted them they said, its lost during transit
i thought its ok, it happens once in a while.. they said, will refund the money.
so, i re-ordered same again, hoping it will arrive for New Year, so that my Kid will get those Mugs as New Year gift.
again they told same thing, my order lost in transit.
really this is ridiculous,
walmart photo centre sucks.
i will never buy anything online from walmart.

Not able to pick style of paper and CANNOT SHARE

I was so disappointed in Walmart's Photo Center this year. Every year my sister's in law and I make a photo album for my mother in law for Christmas(around 8 years now). It usually is so simple but this year it was one disappointment after another using the site. First off now you are unable to pick your own papers for the pics to be printed on. It seems that you have to pick a "Theme" for the book and then you are given a limited selection (around 5) to choose from. That doesn't work when you are making a book that encompasses an entire year of children's pictures from different holidays and events.

Next, you used to be able to move the pictures around on the page but now the picture boxes are set and can't be moved.

The biggest problem with the new site is that you can't share it with others. We have three different families making this photo album and we don't all live close to each other so in the past one of us would start it and then share with the other two to complete. Now, after I've already finished my portion of the album(which took a day and a half), I realized I can't share it. I don't know who the brilliant person was that took that feature away but we were told by Walmart that they are in the process of updating the site and that feature isn't available at this time. Why would you do this close to Christmas? This has to be one of the busiest times of the year for people doing the photo albums. Next year we will not be using Walmart. It's very unfortunate because in the past it was a no brainer - excellent experience and excellent price. Now the experience is horrible but we're paying the same price!!!

Prices are decent which they should be when choices are now so limited.

-Unable to make images larger to center and edit them
-Unable to select number of photos to be displayed each month
-Choices for background display each month is very limited
-Unable to go into old projects to edit them so that birthdays don't have to be re-entered every year
-New photo calendar version is much harder to use than old version

I make personalized photo calendars for all of my family for Christmas every year. They are a lot of work and require a lot of time to individualize them. I was very disappointed in Walmart's photo updates. I used to be able to go back into my old projects and edit to add new pictures and update the year. However, this year I had to start all over from scratch, putting birthdays in, uploading photos, etc. The updated site didn't let me make images larger to center them and the pictures uploaded to specific dates didn't seem as clear. I was also no longer able to select how many photos to display on each month. I am not impressed with the new updates.

I uploaded and placed order on Oct 7 for home delivery of my prints and received email confirmation. It's now October 22 (two weeks) and nothing received. Checked status online and it still says "processing". I haven't received the prints so can't review quality, but in the past they have been very good. Not happy with the slow handling of this order. If they are this back logged now, I wouldn't even think of sending pictures during the holidays.

Quality of pictures is okay

Waste of time trying again and again to get pictures to upload. 2-step process now that is very very slow. Most often, the upload stops after only a picture or two uploaded. Of at least 18 attempts, only one order uploaded completely the first time. Limited options to order a variety of quantities and sizes in a single order.

I've used Walmart photo exclusively for years with complete satisfaction, both one-hour and mail delivery. Photo quality has always been acceptable However, the "upgrade" to online site could not have turned out worse. Wish I could've rated ZERO stars! Very frustrating and a huge waste of time. Very disappointed. I've tried for the past several months but will not waste my time any further with Walmart. It is absolutely ridiculous!! PS: I have never written a negative review about any other vendor or service provider, ever, but this is so bad I felt compelled to warn others. If your time is of value, shop elsewhere.

Prints are pretty good, not exquisite.

The online order process is so slow that I usually give up by the time 5 print have loaded. They have "upgraded" their online order process in the last year and it is much WORSE than the old system. It is not intuitive, and extremely slow.

The download process is extremely slow. If you can wait for an hour to download your pictures, the pictures are as good as anywhere else.

Customer service is acceptable in the store, IF there is someone behind the counter. About half the time, there is no one there.

Prints cut to the wrong size.

I ordered 5x7 prints. They sent me 5x6.75 prints. The top and bottom of my image were cut-off and they were unusable (image contained text).

The photos turned out okay.

I did a birthday card for my boyfriend. And the front looks great, the inside looks horrible. And the back looks fine. But I went the day after to ask them to redo it and the lady said I did it wrong and I can't get a refund but I could do it again online. I'm not wasting my money to have the same looking card. But inside the card all my photos are upside down! And there is no way I could have done that myself. I'm very nervous because I bought a blanket and pillow for my boyfriend also and I really hope that turns out okay.

I will never get photos done here again.

Their 1 hour photo service
Passport photos only $7.44 and return policy has no set number of days restricting it. If photo is rejected they'll either retake it or refund your money.
Customer service when help is needed on the kiosk or on wireless devices when sending photo order through the Walmart app. Not obligation to purchase photos if not satisfied with print and offering to crop and edit photos to print to your liking.

My location has the photo associates responsible for the photo lab, site to store pick up, layaway (during holidays) running a register and electronics so the staff is spread thin and the lines are long during the holidays.

There is not a single strength

They advertise clear pictures and that is crap!!!!!! The quality is horrible. I got pictures done professionally and they were crisp and clear. I waited an hour and a half at the kiosk downloading all my wedding pictures and it said it was enhancing them and crap I say no! I spent $250 on my wedding pictures and they are a load of crap they are not clear and very blurry. False advertising if you ask me. I am extremely pissed

Never ever ever ever use this place! unless you want your pictures to look like complete crap. Thank you Walmart for making me waste money on your supposedly clear and high quality prints
