    Got mine today…..upgraded from a D70…wow, did some low light picture as the sun was going down.
    The results were fantastic, wait till I know what I’m doing. I haven’t done a Video yet but looking forward to it.
    Got a great deal $1149 Canadian………bonus.

    only thing the d7000 is missing is the multi-frame bracketing that the d300 and the d3 has.. oh well i guess i will have to settle for 3 frame bracketing or wait and see what the new D400 and D4 offers ;-D

    Tim and Gert – thanks for the coments. I don’t doubt it’s a huge improvement over your D70, Tim. That’s 3 or 4 generations of camera development – plus, Nikon made a huge leap with the D90/D3 generation. The difference you’re seeing has to be almost like stepping up from a point-and-shoot! :-)
