2010 Photokina Tradeshow
September 21-26, 2010 – Cologne, Germany

Photokina opens today in Germany. The Photokina tradeshow takes place every other fall in Cologne, Germany. It is the largest photography tradeshow in the world and all the camera makers and photography accessory manufacturers will be there to show off their latest products. Since it takes place every other year, camera companies often save their biggest announcements for Photokina. Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax and Panasonic have already announced new compact and DSLR cameras (scroll down for news links by manufacturer) but there are sure to be more before the show starts.

Photokina is the first opportunity for the press and public to get a hands-on look at all the new gear. We won’t be at the show this year, but we’ll be covering all the news with camera and accessory announcements, trend analysis, and links to other good Photokina articles. Lots more camera, lens and photo accessory introductions are expected so bookmark this page and check back to stay informed!
