Today, Panasonic announced the 16.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FP7 and the 14.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FP5 digital cameras. The DMC-FP7 features a 3.5-inch 16:9 LCD Smart Touch Screen with Touch Auto Focus, Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter and Intelligent Scene Selector, Beauty Retouch, Esthetic, and Make-up modes. The DMC-FP5 features 3.0-inch 3:2 LCD Smart Touch Screen with Touch Auto Focus, Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter and Intelligent Scene Selector. Both cameras include 720p HD video recording, a 4x optical zoom lens, a Venus Engine VI image processor, Sonic Speed AF, Intelligent Resolution, Intelligent Zoom, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Auto with AF Tracking and Intelligent Exposure, MEGA OIS, Intelligent ISO Control, and Face Detection.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP7 will be available in blue, black and red colors and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP5 in blue, black, pink and silver colors.
