Nikon Coolpix S6100, S3100, S4100 and L24 – Affordable Digital Cameras All Under $200

Nikon Coolpix S6100 Digital CameraToday, Nikon announced four new affordable compact digital cameras that are all under $200, the Coolpix S6100, Coolpix S4100, Coolpix S3100, and the Coolpix L24.

The Coolpix S6100 features 16-megapixels, a 7x wide-angle optical Zoom-Nikkor ED glass lens, 3-inch LCD touch screen, and Pet Portrait mode.The Coolpix S4100 and Coolpix S3100 both feature 14-megapixels, a 5x wide-angle Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, 720p HD video recording, and Pet Portrait mode. The Coolpix S4100 includes a 3-inch LCD touch screen, while the Coolpix S3100 includes a 2.7-inch LCD. Lastly, the Coolpix L24 features 14-megapixels and a 3.6x optical Zoom-Nikkor glass lens.

All four Coolpix digital cameras include Nikon’s EXPEED C2 digital image processing engine, Scene Auto Selector or Easy Auto mode, Smart Portrait System with In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, Face-Priority AF, Face Priority AE, Smile Mode, Blink Warning and Skin Softening.

The Nikon Coolpix S6100 will be available in March for $199.95 in silver, black, red, and violet colors. The S4100 will be available late February for $179.95 in plum, silver, red and black colors. The S3100 will be available late February 2011 and for $139.95 in silver, red, blue, purple, pink, yellow, and black colors. The L24 will be available late February 2011 for $119.95 in red, silver, and black colors.
