Sigma announced the 18-50mm F2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM lens, which is an upgrade to its predecessor. This lens is dedicated to digital SLR cameras with APS-C size image sensors offering a large aperture and Sigma’s Optical Stabilization.
The lens features a Large Aperture and Wide Angle, Two SLD glass elements and three Aspherical lenses to correct all aberrations, HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), and a minimum focusing distance of 11.8 inches (30cm) throughout the entire zoom range and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.1.
