I am a Nikon ownand have been for a long time . But know what i see in the market place and what is a vable in tokina and Sigma lenses and the price for what you get is a little distubing . that a after market or lets say third party company is doing a much better job on sum top notch lenses for thier prices and built qality . So what is going on with nikon . Well some times when you have been the big guy you forget where you are and who made you there . Is it me or do yopu think nikon lenses are not all being made buy Nikon anymore . Some lenses are veery good but built cheaply other lenses are very sharp and built well but come pare to other lenses of thier own with less cost are much better for the daller. So saying this i have in the past wonder who wpold be the new guy on the block to put Canon and Nikon in the back seat . Sony is on the way with thier new cameras coming out in this month . Pentax is not that far off and they will be there also. Race is on and the old horses are ligerying away step buy step . They better get a new jockey and maybe a new horse be for they reslly throw a shoe. Ken Tall building always fall first.
