We’ve got some funky stuff for you in this round of Featured Member Photos. When I saw mattb’s “Kayaks On Snow” in the Sports Photography Forum, I knew it had to be a Featured Photo. That’s just not something you see every day. Definitely make sure to check out Matt’s whole set of kayak photos. Don Schaeffer’s macro photo of a tiny oyster crab is also pretty remarkable. The other two images – hminx’s “Tail Light On White,” and hifijohn’s trumpet study, are more traditional, yet beautiful. I’m not sure which one I like better. The white on white abstraction of the tail light is really striking, but the metallic texture of the brass in the trumpet image has a nostalgic feel I really like.
