Canon DSLR Lenses News

New Canon 35mm f/2 IS Lens – Now With Image StabilizationCanon announced two new pro lenses last night, the 24-70mm f/4L IS and an update to their popular 35mm f/2 prime. The new Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM prime lens has improved optics, better auto focus and adds optical image stabilization for up to 4 stops of camera shake correction. It’s small, light and the fast f/2.0 aperture makes it a good choice for low light shooting. The 35mm focal length provides a medium wide-angle view and is a favorite for photojournalism, street, travel and event photography. With the addition of image stabilization the new 35mm f/2 IS lens should also be attractive to videographers for handheld filming with Canon digital SLRs.
