New Canon PowerShot SX500 IS With 30x Zoom LensThe Canon PowerShot SX500 IS, a 16-megapixel compact camera with a huge 30x 24-720mm (equivalent) optical zoom lens, was announced today. The SX500 IS superzoom camera’s 30x zoom lens makes it a great all-purpose choice for families, small businesses and travelers who want as much flexibility as possible. To help keep long zoom and low light photos sharp, the SX500 IS is equipped with Canon’s Intelligent IS optical image stabilization.
