Canon Your Second Shot CampaignCanon has launched their new television, print and online advertising campaign titled “Your Second Shot”. The new campaign promotes Canon’s HS System which sharpens image quality in poor-lighting conditions without the use of the flash and encourages consumers to recapture their lost moments when photos didn’t turn out due to poor-lighting, blurriness, and overexposure.

Canon’s new commercial features a real life couple getting a second chance to recapture photographs of a café Barcelona of where the woman’s parents first met. Since their original photos never turned out, Canon took the couple back to Barcelona to recreate their experience. To further promote the campaign, Canon will also give a New York City band a performance re-shoot at the CBGB Gallery, hold a weekly online sweepstakes from October 4 to October 31, 2010 for consumers to win Canon PowerShot Digital cameras, and consumers can send in their own “missed moments” stories that could inspire upcoming Canon “Your Second Shot” commercials.
