Datacolor has announced the launch of the new SpyderLensCal. The SpyderLensCal offers a reliable method of measuring the focus performance on camera and lens combinations and delivers razor-sharp focusing using modern DSLR autofocus micro-adjustment.
Designed to put the power of lens calibration back into the consumer’s hands, the SpyderLensCal makes it possible to quickly adjust DSLR lenses to their optimum settings, thus avoiding the costly and time-consuming process of shipping the lens to the manufacturer. SpyderLensCal was designed to aid in correcting the autofocus by enabling photographers to store them in custom camera settings on recent DLSR bodies. With the capability to store lens autofocus corrections on recent DSLR cameras, users can easily change from lens to lens without needing to recalibrate.
SpyderLensCal is available for $59.00 and the official worldwide launch will take place at Photokina in Cologne, Germany, from September 21-26, 2010 where attendees can calibrate one camera body and lens.
