Today, Panasonic announced the pricing for the Panasonic Lumix G2 and Lumix G10. These two digital cameras are the latest additions to Panasonic’s Lumix G Series Digital Singles Lens (DSL) Micro Four Thirds cameras.
The Lumix DMC-G2 features 12.1-megapixels, a movable LCD that rotates 180° from side to side and tilts 270° up and down and allows for touch-control, a 3.0-inch 460,000-dot high-resolution LCD, 720p High Definition video using the AVCHD Lite format, Double Live-View Function, AF Tracking, Multi-area AF, Venus Engine HD II that supports the new image processing technology Intelligent Resolution, My Color mode with seven preset effects (Expressive, Retro, Pure, Elegant, Monochrome, Dynamic Art, and Silhouette), iA Intelligent Auto for both still photo and video recording, and a Dust Reduction System. It will be available late-May 2010 for $799.95 and will come in red, blue and black models.

The Lumix DMC-G10 features 12.1-megapixels, 1280 x 720 HD video recording in Motion JPEG, QVGA, VGA and WVGA formats, MEGA O.I.S. for still photos, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector (Portrait, Night Portrait, Scenery, Night Scenery, Close-up and Sunset) that switches to the appropriate Scene mode automatically, Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) for video, Face Recognition, AF system with AF Tracking, 1-area AF, Face Detection AF/AE and 23-area AF, Live View Finder, a 3.0-inch 460,000-dot high-resolution LCD, Venus Engine HD II that supports the new image processing technology Intelligent Resolution, My Color mode with seven preset effects (Expressive, Retro, Pure, Elegant, Monochrome, Dynamic Art, and Silhouette), 26 Scene Modes, and a Dust Reduction System. It will be available late-May 2010 for $599.95.
