Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Zoom Lens Sigma’s new 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM zoom lens, announced at PMA this spring, is now available for Canon APS-C sensor digital SLR owners. Sigma, Nikon, Sony and Pentax mount versions should be available, “in the coming weeks.” The 17-50mm zoom range, fast f/2.8 aperture, FLD glass and Sigma’s OS Optical Stabilization make this an excellent standard zoom for serious photographers and pros who own APS-C digital SLRs like the Canon EOS Rebel T2i / 550D, Canon EOS 7D, Nikon D300s or Nikon D5000.
