The Center for Fine Art Photography is accepting entries for their two photography contests, a Portfolio Showcase and a Documentary exhibition. Eligibility ranges from U.S., international, professional and amateur photographers who are working in black and white or color, using traditional or digital methods or elements of both processes. They also encourage individual artistic interpretation of its themes. All entries may be submitted online.
The Portfolio Showcase deadline is April 28, 2009 and fifteen photographers will be chosen to display their twelve-image portfolio in The Center for Fine Art Photography’s Portfolio ShowCase Volume 3: Book and Online Exhibition. There is an open theme and the show will be on the Center’s web site at www.c4fap.org from June 1 – June 30, 2009 and will remain online for the next two years. The Documentary exhibition deadline is May 12, 2009 and should feature the artistic viewpoint of the documentary photographer. With selection for this exhibition, artists and their work will be seen by an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants and others who appreciate the fine art of photography.
