Corny as it may sound, my first real interests in photography came around about the same time as my first baby. Until then, I harbored secret desires to be a photojournalist, which was hampered by the discovery that blood or other things of a graphic nature make me woozy and pass out. After ruling that out, I turned my attention to the tiny little person living with us. By the 2nd baby, I had moved up to my first slr. After 3 years, and boxes full of prints, I moved to digital.
In 2005, after endless hours of research and planning, I went into the child portraiture business. Working with two local high end children's boutiques had gotten my name out, and kept me as busy as I'd like to be at this point. Right now, I'm working completely on location, using natural light, and have been fortunate enough to be successful at something I really enjoy doing.
